MUSTARD MARINATION FOR CHICKEN / MEAT / FISH
MUSTARD DRESSING
MUSTARD GRAVIES / CURRY
PASTA WITH VEGETABLES IN TOMATO MUSTARD SAUCE
MUSTARD MARINATION FOR CHICKEN / MEAT / FISH
Ingredients:
Chicken / Meat / Fish – 1 cup (boneless) any one of them
Aatash Foods English Mustard – 2 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Herbs – 1/2 tsp
Salt – to taste
Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Lime Juice / White Vinegar – 1 tsp
Method:
Mix all ingredients together and marinate the Chicken / Meat / Fish etc.
MUSTARD DRESSING
Ingredients:
Aatash Foods English Mustard – 2 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Vinegar – 2 tbsp
Salt and Pepper – to taste
Honey – 2 tsp
Method:
Mix all ingredients together and toss any salad of your choice in it.
MUSTARD GRAVIES / CURRY
Ingredients:
Oil – 2 tbsp
Bay Leaf – 2 nos.
Garlic – 1 tsp (chopped)
Cloves – 3 to 4 nos.
Aatash Foods English Mustard – 1 tbsp
Onion – 2 nos (chopped)
Tomatoes – 1 small (chopped)
Tamarind Pulp – 2 tsp
Curry Leaves – 3 to 4 nos
Water / Stock – 1/2 cup
Chopped Corriander Leaves – 1 tbsp
Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
Corriander Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – to taste
Chopped Corriander Leaves – 1 tsp (Garnish)
Method:
Heat Oil, Saute Bay Leaves, Cloves, Garlic, Onions until browned. Add in the curry leaves, tomatoes, powdered masalas, tamarind pulp, Aatash Foods English Mustard, water / stock, simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. Add in Fish / Chicken / Vegetables of your choice and prepare curries based with mustard flavour, garnish with chopped corriander leaves.
PASTA WITH VEGETABLES IN TOMATO MUSTARD SAUCE
Ingredients:
Aatash Foods English Mustard – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp (Olive Oil)
Tomatoes – 2 nos. (chopped)
Garlic – 1/2 tsp (chopped)
Herbs – 1/2 tsp
Salt and Pepper – to taste
Tomato Puree – 1/2 cup
Sliced Olives – 3 to 4 nos
Grated Cheese – 1/4 cup
Chopped Parsley – 1/2 tsp (Garnish)
Red / Green / Yellow Capsicums- 1/4 cup (shredded)
Boiled Pasta of your choice – 1 cup
Sliced Mushroom – 3 to 4 nos
Green Peas – 1/4 cup
Method:
1. Boil Pasta and keep aside.
2. Heat Oil in a pan, Saute all vegetables with 1 tsp Aatash Foods English Mustard, salt and pepper. Remove.
3. To prepare the Sauce – Heat Olive oil, saute garlic, add tomatoes, puree, herbs, salt to taste, olives, simmer for 5 minutes.
4. To serve, toss the pasta in a pan with the tomato sauce, add in the mustard, flavoured vegetables, toss well, serve hot, top it with cheese, parsley.
Chef’s Variations:
Try serving varieties of vegetables etc. with mustard flavoured sauces and vegetables.
